Best Floor Mats?

This same thing happened to me during deer season. The OEM all weather mats suck period. Probably ok for people who stay on the pavement or for summertime. Anyway I had the dealer keep my vehicle till they could fix the issue. They quickly ordered a set of weather tech mats front and rear and they are much better. I think husky or weather tech are usually the leaders in this department. I feel sorry for people who don’t realize how bad the OEM mats are cause if you track in snow it will get your carpet wet and as a previous member mentioned it won’t dry with a rubber mat on it. It will prematurely rot the floor board and I imagine it will stink eventually.
My truck stays a mess with wet and mud during turkey season, so these are a must

I'm sure there must be a LHD version of this:

It's absolutely great, it's rubber and is just so much nicer than plastic (or whatever) ones I've had from Weathertech in other cars.

"Snow & Leisure Mat" compared to that little one that Toyota had in stock (factory was carpet).

Part number is: 58501-60130

My dealer couldn't see it on their system, so I had to find it online.

First mod we did was order Husky liners, I have them in all my vehicles. the liners in my Tacoma are from 1999.

At $143 for front, rear and trunk, I’m pretty impressed with 3W. They aren’t as stiff as Husky or Weathertech and the front and rear fit perfect. The trunk mat fits good but doesn’t have the holes for the tiedowns, but neither does WT or Husky.

Husky X-act fit. You may need to toss them out in the Sun to speed them up conforming to your vehicle.

I can add another vote for WeatherTech. I got the front, rear, and cargo area mats. All of them fit great and have been easy to remove and clean this winter.

One thing -- when I went to install them for the first time, I had a lot of moisture sitting underneath the factory/OEM mats, probably from my boots. So I'm glad I replaced them ASAP.

+1 on the WeatherTech HP mats. Fit and coverage are both excellent, and I like the new material they are using. I've been very happy with them.

I bought some tuxmats, and they seem great except they completely cover the door sills, and mine has illuminated sills, and I don’t want to cover them up, even though I would have never ordered that option. What are your favorite mats? Was really considering WeatherTech. I like that they come in cocoa to go with my Java interior, and I had them on my last vehicle, and for 12 years they were great. Any other opinions or pics would be appreciated.
I purchased Smartliner to replace OEM due to problem of water flow to front right corner. Smartliner was perfect fit and addressed my problem and yours.

What's the new material? Did they finally dump the plastic?

WT had great fit and they last FOREVER, but they were/are slippery as all get out if there was mud/dirt involved.

Can you show a pic of the cargo area mats? I have already put the front and rear mats in, but could not tell from the website what the cargo area mats actually looked like on the edges.

For anyone interested in the Tuxmats, they are currently not fulfilling order to the US. Wanted a pair after having them in my wife's previous vehicle, placed an order and it didn't ship after a week, instead of the advertised same day. Reached and out and was notified they weren't able to fulfill it. Bummer as they also have an option for the second row seatbacks.

Shame - I wanted to return mine a few weeks ago- and they made me cut them in pieces, send them pics, and they refunded my money. I felt it was ridiculous that they deemed them worth less than return shipping. Mine came in a week when I ordered in March. I wanted to return because they covered lighted sills. Other thank that, they were great.

+1 on Weathertech HP. Wish they were a little more rubbery, but fit and coverage are great. They're not too plasticky, but a little bit, and prob a little more pricey than they should be, but I've had sets in every vehicle the last 20 years. They just don't wear out. Buy once..

I was looking at these, I'm bummed to hear that. I don't think the Husky X-act fit are as nice as they were pre-realtruck buying them, they don't feel as rubbery as they used too, maybe they just need some wear like leather soles.
