Reservations about the modern powertrain, but Toyota has history with the Hybrid and the low end torque makes it so responsive, you never have to push it.

Still love the styling, handles well for what it is.

I'm at 30k miles and I still have to talk myself out of turning back to look at her after I park. I've driven through 10 states, and the LC is always very comfortable. I've also done some off-roading and sand driving, and the truck is extremely capable in stock form.
The paint has held up great, its still looks clean even when its dirty. I have been lucky when it comes to the windshield, I’ve had several impacts and the glass has tiny chips that look like glitter in the sunlight but no signs of cracking (yet). The only complaint I have is that the drivers power seat control on the side pops off sometimes when I get out. I assume it happens when I slide out instead of stepping out but its annoying because sometimes it falls outside of the truck and it’s hard to find. My mileage has been between 18-20mpg, and this is fine for me. I live close to a Costco and get good prices on premium-top shelf fuel. I keep it in sport mode and I love driving it, it turns heads everywhere I go.

I'm just over 50K as well, congratulations to you! I've done at least every 3k-5k oil changes along with the recommendations in my maintenance guide (posted here). Not a bit of trouble (other than a head on collision causing $21 K in repairs) and although most of my miles are daily 60 mile highway commutes, I have taken it on some very demanding off road trips (just short of advanced rock climbing) on at least a dozen occasions and it has not missed a beat. After my collision repairs and after returning to pavement after each off-road jaunt, it tracks dead-on with alignment, and is just as quiet and solid as was when new.

I've got a 125K extended Toyota warranty and plan to take it well beyond in the next few years!

Good to hear! Im at 29k and on a long road trip across usa now, and debating selling mine as the miles go by for used pre-nanny lexus LX. Cant stand the constant beeping and nannies and reminders i turned them off. While towing 2000lbs at 65mph, the boost gauge is at 8 to 15 psi almost all the time, this does not bode well for turbo life - even though the LC doesnt complain or feel overloaded, just guzzles gas. Love the LC but it is annoying to live with camping and towing.

I changed plugs at 40K - super easy! I did transfer case, front and rear diffs at 30K, but have not done Transmission yet... waiting until 60k for this..

No, I changed them much earlier The change intervals can vary, depending on your use case. Someone who off-roads or tows a lot will need to change the fluids more frequently. I did a drain and fill for the transmission at 35K and sent the fluid off to Blackstone Labs for analysis (the results looked great!)

Official: 2025 LC LC premium in meteor with Java interior, 29k miles for sale, title in hand. Cant handle the nannies. Couldn't back up to trailer in pouring rain because parking brake kept turning on with liftgate open while screaming "brake" at me while displaying all the things i disabled. I'm not a 15 y/o learning to drive.
Over it, toyota, your ui and driver supervision is shite, you need a "leave me the hell alone and let me concentrate on driving damn it" toggle button - badly.
Buying something pre-2015 to replace it. I knew better, but used heart over head. Looking forward to peaceful driving in near future.

Just put KO3s on my 1958, and I love the look. Handling is just as good as OEM and road noise isn't all that bad. Outstanding off road. Curious as to your MPGs with the KO3s? Pre-KO3s, I would routinely cruise between 75-80 and get 22-23 MPG on the highway. That dropped to 19-20 at same speed with KO3s, but I found that I can get around 21 MPG If I keep it between 70-75. Of course, I still drive at 75-80. F that. Around town is worse.

Not to mention crash safety… I came into my 25’ lc250 from a 05’ V8 4R Sport 4WD and I’ve been very happy to not have to do any serious maintenance, have a semiautonomous driving aid, a much nicer interior to be inside, and much more accident survivability for my family and myself. That said, everyone has their needs/wants. I hope you get what you’re looking for @MSINAL!

I’m embarrassed to say I have a 2024 with less than 10k on it. First vehicle I bought cause of its looks. Love the performance. If I had longer commutes, avg mpg would be 20+

Ha. Roughly 2000 miles are road trips. Ours is a weekend vehicle for now until my son takes the Tacoma.
