Plus sized my tires today. +2” in diameter for a 1958 but only +1” for a LCLC trim. Tires are a 33.9” Toyo AT3 which is probably closer to a 33.5”. The ride feels much improved over the stock 245/70r18 Yokohama geolandar x-cv. No suspension lift yet will be going with a Bilstein setup when they are ready. Was able to manage 22mpg on highway according to my obd2 app that takes into account the +3.7% size difference over the stock LCLC trim 265/70r18. City driving is around 15-18mpg but will report back as I get more time.

Tires: Toyo AT3 LT285/75R17 C load
Wheels: Method 703 Machined finish 17” +35 offset

Thanks for posting - meteor shower seems like a tricky color to find a good wheel color for, but I think the machined silver looks good.

Agreed! MS is a fairly neutral color but I think the slight tint of brown makes it less neutral and more “warm” at times. Black wheels or other neutral colors should go well but I think they tend to just disappear and I’m a bit tired of seeing black wheels. I previously had a salsa red 4th gen with bronze wheels and loved that color combo but I think this new setup is now my favorite. My only small gripe so far is that I low key was hoping the machined look was closer to the alloy wheel look of the 90s 😆. That said, it’s a good combo and I’m glad I decided to go with it.

Machined wheels are a bit more maintenance to keep clean but I think this combo is killer. Nicely done! (y)
