Wiper Blades

My dealer actually told me to get the refills and not the whole blade mechanism. I am pretty happy with my dealer so far. Sorry to hear that so many of them suck.

Looks like we may get rain during the movie later.

I replaced the two front ones a few minutes ago while waiting for the movie to start at the Drive Inn theater. Easy peasy once you figure out how to release the wipers from the metal thingamajiggers..

I just put my Bosch ikons on and they are juddering non stop - anyone else have this issue? Don’t want to go start bending wiper blade arm yet
22/20
Mine just started doing that for the 2nd time since I swapped them out. Highway driving after a while in the rain. I've used Icons (or at least Bosch) on my cars for at least a decade by now and never had an issue like this. I put mine on Last November, so not even a year old yet. This is the 2nd time they've started a judder on me, and the driver side is streaking. Not sure what's causing it.

Keep in mind the letter after the number in Bosch wipers refers to the natural curvature of the blade. It’s the A’s that are working flawlessly for me on both sides. (Apparently the B is supposed to be passenger side specific and OE has a different connector.)

I have 22A driver / 20A passenger as well. I'm going to give the windshield a good cleaning which hopefully gets them back to normal. I never put a coating (like rainx) on it, so not sure what could be causing it. Cleaning it solved it last time.

When I bought mine from the Fred Anderson website, they showed up the same way. I paid about $7.50/ea after tax.
I just ordered a couple of sets from them, hopefully all will be good!

Just a follow up, my refill blades from Fred Anderson Toyota came in about 10 days. All good! Will order from them moving forward!

I haven't purchased new inserts yet, but for my Taco, I always got the OEM inserts. I plan on doing the same for the LC. Toyota makes good inserts.
I just installed OEM inserts, it was simple and took maybe 5 minutes or less for both fronts. $7.50 each. I have used these for many years and replace them once a year maybe twice. Living in Arizona they get cooked.

The OEM blades that came on Miss Daisy started to go bad after ~20 months. I found refills at Lexus in Chattanooga, TN. I replaced them a few months ago in early July.

The brand new Toyota wiper refills are already going bad after ~2 1/2 months. This really sucks dirty pond water. 😡
