Why does my phone pop up that Toyota app wants to communicate with my phone every time e I get in the LC? It asks to allow. That is super annoying. I googled it, and the answer was that I might have a connect subscription about to expire etc., but that’s not the case. I have at least until next April on all trials left. Anyone know a fix? This is super obnoxious.
 
this is also happening to me - week old LC. i've been trying to test different things and see why it's happening - currently on whether it happens every time when i plug phone into power before starting.
have you tried deleting and reinstalling the phone app yet? iphone? 18.5?
 
Happens to me as well, every time. There does not appear to be any negative impact to simply ignoring that popup, which for me is only transient and disappears after about 2-3 seconds. All CarPlay functions work as normal even if I just let the popup go away...
Same here. No ill effects and the Toyota app still updates the vehicle status even if I don't log in.

I'm wondering if it's an issue resolved in the phone settings?
 
On Android I sometimes get a "BLE Service" notification when starting the vehicle...but it doesn't ask for any user interaction, and doesn't happen every time.
