This is exactly why I chose the LC over a jeep or Bronco. 5 hours on Hwys to the mountain road, 18 miles of curves from the valley up to 8,000ft, to the ancient bristle cone pine forest to see the world oldest tree, then 16 miles of dirt/rock road, to a trailhead at roughly 11,000 ft, so windy I put down the seats and slept comfortably in the back.
The next day I hiked up to the peak, the 3rd highest in Ca then drove home, all in one day. The on road comfort was welcome, along with the radar cruise.
