I use Waze a lot. When my 2024 LC-LC is showing 60 MPH on the speedometer Waze says I’m only going 57-58 MPH. Which reading is more accurate or correct?

For my Land Cruiser the speedometer agreed with GPS with 33" tires (275/65 R20). Especially with the 1958 stock size tires, but really anything under 33", the speedometer will read a few MPH fast.

I’ve experienced the very same phenomena with my 2024 First Edition running a BFG KO3 in the original OEM size (LT265/70R18/E 124/121S RWL). I’ve never experienced this with any other vehicle prior to the Land Cruiser. I’ve always found Waze and other GPS based speedometers to be very accurate. I’d be curious to see if this is happening with the various OEM tire diameters for each Land Cruiser trim (i.e., 1958, Land Cruiser, and First Edition).

My 58 is 2 miles off, at 65 miles an hour I’m actually going 63. But the good news is I never drive that slow. I get my best gas mileage on the freeway or interstate at 75+.
