πŸ‘‹ Welcome to the new Land Cruiser Forum - Please post an introduction thread!

I just purchased our first Land Cruiser. I had a 4-runner years ago. I drove both this time around. I decided on the 2025 LC because of the space within it compared to the 4-runner.

What's up y'all - just bought my wife a 2025 LCLC in Wind Chill. Wife's 2018 Audi Q5 was on the fast road to problems and she saw an LCLC on the road and said "yup, that's the one". She's a keeper for sure.

That said, I plan to keep it fairly mild and comfortable for her... Dobinsons MRR's and likely a set of 17" RRW's with some decent A/T's and that'll probably be it for a while. Looking forward to spending some time on here with you all.

Howdy gang!
It's been a long time coming for me. I've lived in envy of my friend for more than the last 20 years who has cycled through all variations of the LCs while I watched and drooled. I've had a very capable 2008 Nissan Xterra Off-Road for the last 17 years and could never justify the upgrade while she kept chugging along. Well, the day finally came when the repair threshold was met and I'm now a proud owner of a 2025 Land Cruiser in Heritage Blue. It sorta fell in my lap and I'm so excited that I haven't really slept in the last three weeks since receiving it. Lurking about here, reddit LC pages and all the mod companies thinking about what I want to add to make it my own. I still can't really believe that it's happened and I'm guilty of just opening the door to the garage, flipping the light on and giggling every time I look at it!

Hi Yall,

Owned my LC 1958 trim for about a month now. So far loving it. Made the jump from a highly modified Jeep Wrangler. So its nice to have a daily that drives in a straight line.

Working on getting more parts for it. Just waiting to see what everyone has for

Nice, wife wants a Jeep Wrangler, we had a 2021 before with 3.0L eco diesel zero problems until son put unleaded in it. Are the un road mannerism's in a lift jeep night and day to the Land Cruiser?

My Jeep was a 21 eco diesel as well. Loved it, but the turbo went out around 18k miles due to it not doing its regens. Took 2.5 months to fix due to part shortages and I just never fully trusted it again. I did a few long distance trips with it and always had it in the back of my mind that it was going to die on me on the highway again. So ended up selling it before the warranty was up. Thought the LC would be a good replacement for it.

Regarding the on road mannerisms, yes 100%. The Jeep with the lift and 37s drove like a boat. Just kinda guided in the direction you wanted, and that was with brand new steering components. Living in the north east, where the pot holes sometimes the size of county's. Having an IFS makes a huge difference on road, but you do sacrifice off road performance. The jeep would out wheel the LC all day, but I dont really do that kind of wheeling anymore. Did a 500 mile off road road trip a month ago, and my buddy in his 3rd gen 6ft bed stock tacoma sport did everything my jeep did. SO not like I needed that performance any more.
