I have this weird situation with using the USB-C ports in the front for charging. I have bricked two Earfun Uboom bluetooth speakers simply by charging them off the USB-C ports in the front row using the ones with the lightning bolt Icons. After charging for ~15 min they no longer can pair over BT. I thought the first one was simply a random malfunction but after the 2nd one broke I was able to theorize on the common denominator. This could simply be the fault of the speaker company (Earfun) or maybe something with the car.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I'm now skeptical to charge anything off of them....

Does your Land Cruiser have the wireless charging pad in the front of the console (below the charging ports)?

The reason I ask, laying something that isn't a smart phone capable of wireless charging on the charging pad can "brick" it- not a good place to set your smart key down.

I do have the wireless charging but the speaker was in the cup holder since it is about the size of a water bottle. Still a good bit of information to know.

I wish the wireless charger had a simple on/off switch
