Same setup here with a tow shackle in the receiver.

Anyone recommend a good locking hitch pin? Looks like the hitch is 3.5” wide.

Anyone knows if there are any aftermarket cover options? Just discovered some minor surface rust around the weld points, which I guess is expected for hitches. May need to find a cover in the future to hide the eye sore if it fully rusts over the years.

Spray some oil or lanolin based rust inhibitor on there and it won’t rust. It’ll be dirty though.

Yeah I am thinking to sand the rust, paint it with Rust-oleum rust reformer/sealer and then apply fluid film.

That surface rust will probably just neutralize and disappear under the fluid film when it gets dirty.
