Toyota Integrated Dashcam Install Instructions

I looked all over for instructions on the dashcam install, but ended up having to get ahold of my dealer. Posting it here in case anyone needs it.

Yes, except it installs on the passenger side according to the instructions. I don’t care what it looks like. One connector and it records 24/7.

A YouTuber did an evaluation of it. Said it was only 720P, which may make license plates difficult to see, if needed. One of those was supposed to be on Miss Daisy, but was deleted by the dealer at the last minute. I’m glad. I ended up getting a Garmin 310, which is much higher resolution than the Toyota branded version, and a plug for the OBD port, which enables 24/7 monitoring.

It’s 1080p. I have a Garmin now and it can’t read license plates either lol also, one less thing to worry about.
