I'm playing around with the tire pressure - Went from 45lbs to 40lbs and not much difference on highway comfort.

I have Method 703's 35+ offset with Toyo OC ATIII's 285/17 r17"s C load.

I ran various 275/70r18 C load tires on my 2014 4runner for 14 years and I had a Bilstein 2.5" lift, and that seemed a smoother ride than what I have now in the LC 1958 with these rims & tires. The stock ones were a very smooth ride but I'll be off road a lot.

I always ran my 18's at 43PSI

There seems to be a jarring bounciness that you get over freeway bumps at around 55 - 65 mph.

Going to drop down below 40lbs and see what that does.

Your experiences???

Anyone swap shocks for Bilstein's or others and see an improvement?

I have the same specs but Black Rhino Congo's with Wildpeak AT4Ws. I just recently did the same pressure change, and it is a huge difference around town and back roads. I'll need to see how it is on a highway trip, haven't done so since the change.

I wasn't entirely sure if 35 was too low ... Identifying acceptable pressures has not been ... immediately obvious. No issues with MPG hit if it rides better, which it does.

I have the 275/75-18s ATIIIs and they seem to ride OK on most highway surfaces at about 40 psi. It looks like everyone who gets an aftermarket suspension claims the ride is improved over stock. Bilstein is still TBA for the LC250.
