I piggyback posted a few weeks back as a new member that was deep into the final decision phase. Found the one we wanted at the dealership which will be closest to where we plan to move so yesterday on out way up, we stopped in and made the deal.
Wind Chill Pearl/ Java with almost everything you'd want. Cool fact. It was built on July 4rth!! It is on the boat now and expected to land ~8/4. So we will have to be patient with getting it shipped to Maine but looks like late August delivery will be quite realistic. We climbed the ladder of expense in SUV world from humble Mitsus, Isuzus, Subarus, a GMT360 Ascender, up into BMWs and finally Range Rovers. Moral of the story....size wise the 2016 RRS was the best but suspension was too harsh on frostheaved roads. The Range Rover Westie took care of that issue but was dull and vague..granted sweetest V6TT I have ever experienced. In the end, bigger is NOT better. It's going to be nice to get a bit closer to our SUV roots with a vehicle which will happily live on our dirt roads....and lets not discuss depreciation..got lucky.
