We just returned from our first camping adventure with our LC (1958). All went fairly well. My 3500lb trailer towed with ease, but two things bothered me. First, it is obvious that the person who came up with the placement of the electrical connectors on the vehicle has never used one. Nothing like getting on your hands and knees, next to the exhaust, trying to plug your electrical connector. Secondly, I averaged around 13 to 14 mpg while towing at 65mph, which was fine, but I sure wish the gas tank was a little bigger. On the bright side, lots of bathroom breaks.
