I’m guilty of breaking the first rule of mission planning, I fell in love with my plan. And for some reason the universe kept Murphy at bay.
Brought home my Underground LC today. First impressions:
1) It drives like I expected a Land Cruiser to drive. Communicative and nimble compared to my pickup.
2) Need to get used to the regenerative braking.
3) Navigating menus not as difficult as anticipated. Credit to all the posters on here sharing their experiences.
4) Sound emitted from engine is underwhelming. Wasn’t expecting anything special but I’ve never owned an internal combustion engine that made a similar noise. Grateful it is not loud.
5) The view from the drivers seat it better than I’ve had in a long time. Can see the corners without issue.
6) HUD visibility with polarized sunglasses is better than expected.
7) Overall very pleased with the LC. Will be making some small mods in the coming weeks.

Love that color.
When I was looking to buy, I wanted Underground with Java (I believe that was what they were calling the interior), but nothing was available in my area so just took what was available. Love what I have now - but yours looks fantastic.

I really lucked out with the Java interior too. I inquired about an LC on the lot at my local dealer, that one was spoken for but the one I bought was 6-8 weeks out from delivery. I put the deposit down that day hoping tariffs wouldn’t impact the price. Dodged that bullet and managed to sell another car at a price I was happy with and trade in my Chevy Colorado ZR2 at a fair number to get my Underground.

Did anyone get a portfolio for their owners manual and other literature or are these relics of the past? I received mine in gallon ziplock bag.
