Has anyone considered if the engine cover present in other Toyota/Lexus products with same engine would fit the LC?

I think that engine cover is for transverse mounted applications. Iirc its designed to get air flow to the backside of the engine for cooling.

Also the large inverter both produces and is impacted by engine heat. You do not want to be altering what Toyota has carefully crafted and tested.

If Lexus makes an identical hybrid with a cover then that part would probably work. Except then our engine cover would unacceptably say "Lexus".

Out of curiosity, what do people see as the Engine Model on the block itself vs the sticker on the inside of the hood.

For me, the hood sticker says T24A-FTS (as you'd expect) and the engine sticker says T24A-G43 (non-turbo?). This is a 2024 LC FE purchased mid-May and built in Tahara. I don't suspect anything is wrong, but curious nonetheless :)

The basic engine is used on many vehicle applications, add the turbo kit and it makes sense that the hood decal would be different to denote the added/deleted components.

This is an accessory part I found that is offered in China. I am not sure if they are included, stock, with their CDM LC250 Prado T24A-FTS engines.
