Also the large inverter both produces and is impacted by engine heat. You do not want to be altering what Toyota has carefully crafted and tested.
If Lexus makes an identical hybrid with a cover then that part would probably work. Except then our engine cover would unacceptably say "Lexus".

Out of curiosity, what do people see as the Engine Model on the block itself vs the sticker on the inside of the hood.
For me, the hood sticker says T24A-FTS (as you'd expect) and the engine sticker says T24A-G43 (non-turbo?). This is a 2024 LC FE purchased mid-May and built in Tahara. I don't suspect anything is wrong, but curious nonetheless

This is an accessory part I found that is offered in China. I am not sure if they are included, stock, with their CDM LC250 Prado T24A-FTS engines.

Something hot to burn yourself on and something else to have to remove to get to spark plugs, etc.
The hood isn't enough for some people (tongue in cheek). To each their own
I know some manufacturers will add foam inserts underneath an engine cover to help mitigate engine noise. In practice, I'm under the impression this rarely makes a noticeable difference. In some cases, engine covers can direct airflow a certain way or simply provide some protection of electronic components. More often than not though, they are merely for aesthetics. Personally, I like seeing all of the components of the engine, so I don't get it; but if it floats your boat, why not? Do what makes you smile

Toyota is weird, first the Sequoia now the GX550h. Can't they just do something better than this.. Even though I never considered the hybrid GX but this half ass job still kinda offended me... So, We have some updates on the LC250 hybrid and LX700h.....same thing.... LC250 Hybrid...

I installed the Victory engine cover . The snake den Toyota provides without a cover is ridiculous, but I guess that’s my automotive OCD kicking in. Our Sequoias, Tundra, GX have all had covers.
I wanted to find an answer & came across Victory’s solution for Tacoma engine bays. It’s really well built, nice powder coating, & does dress up the thing very nicely. For 1/2 the price you can find a plastic cover on eBay that’s used on overseas LC250s. I bolted on a a GR logo spice it up for laughs…

In my experience engine covers attract rodents especially if they have extra foam in them.
They’re going to love that sound deadening panel under the LC hood!
