im waiting for a non, 3d printed version but this is awesome. Toyota should have made a factory one
I considered one of those sunglasses holders above the rear-view mirror. But, I decided that it would reduce some sight line views from the driver's seat.
Do any users of those find them to offer reduced visibility (toward the sky, mainly) through the windshield?

It's a pretty simple product. As long as the 3M tape continues to hold, it will get the job done.
Where it's placed I don't see how it would block your vision unless your head is above the rear view mirror. I'm not that tall.
In this photo I'm holding the phone above my head just to get a shot and you could see it would block a bit. But at the height of my eyes there is nothing blocked at all that the big plastic piece attached to the window is not blocking already.

For us vertically eccentric people, it isn’t a forward sightline issue. It’s a rear sightline issue via the mirror. Mine has to be adjusted to the highest position to effectively use the mirror. Nothing useable is going up there.
At a comfortable seated position, I am only an inch or two from the roof liner. Yet another reason why a premium was never going to work for me, and why the 4R fell out of contention.
While this is a totally fair consideration, I'm 6'4" and my head is less than 1" from the headliner and the sunglass holder fits in mine without impacting the rearview mirror position at all.
On the bright side you always have a good view at a movie or concert.

Maybe you’re more comfortable keeping your mirror stalk further down in the positioning range. For me it creates a weird parallax. I also have a cage in the back and my light sensor only consistently works at the highest positioning with a more perpendicular face toward the rear window.
What is the vertical height of the opening of that holder. I've got large sunglasses that don't fold very flat and I'm not sure they'll fit.

Just spent $30 ($39 with shipping and tax)for it and got it today. Installed and glad to have it$30: yeah … make sense
$65: man … too steep
This is a cheap option (~$17) that has worked really well for me:
Sunglasses stick out just a bit but don't rattle around or fall out.

My glasses must be larger than yours. I purchased that before I bought the Etsy one I mentioned above and my glasses will just fall off the one you show. Would have worked if that shelf were a bit longer.
