Something leaking on gas pedal?

Was noticing my gas pedal seemed slippery - then discovered this: (see pic). Something dripping from above the gas pedal coated the top half of the gas pedal, then goes around the back of the pedal, and drips on the floor mat below the pedal. When I cleaned it up it was mostly clear with some light brown in it (I realize dirt may be in it) and a little oily. No smell that I notice but definitely thicker than plain water. Anyone else get this? Anyone discover what it is or what's causing it? Could it be power steering fluid or maybe emergency brake fluid (if there would be any)? Brake fluid? No warnings have come up from the computer system yet.

Research tells me that a variety of drains could be clogged (sunroof, A/C drain, and windshield cowl), but that doesn't seem to be my problem. And if that was so, why would it be oily? I made an appointment with Toyota next week so hopefully it is a warranty issue.

Exactly, It happened to my FE long time ago that I reported in our forum. Yes, it is oil.
Checked with dealer and they fixed it !
It is AC o-rings leak or something like that
On the bill that dealer sent to manufacture…the part cost $26 (3 O-rings) but the labor cost $1,554 plus 3-day loaner car $

Bring yours to dealer…

Bring yours to dealer…

That would be pag oil then (horrible for aquatic environment). Hopefully when they recharged your refrigerant they added pag oil too. This oil lubricates the compressor and you can't easily measure how much pag oil is in the system to determine if it's sufficient.

Can't believe this happened, points to poor workmanship and processes, and also improper filling procedure or substandard equipment.

Maybe the others are correct, but it looks like I can see fluid on the brake booster rod and if that is the case your brake booster (Main piston seal is leaking). Hope not, but if so that is bad news for safety and because brake fluid eats paint and causes rust pretty quickly. I'd check that rod you can see attached to the brake pedal and your fluid level just to be sure.

Here is my receipt for your reference
In my case, I saw the oil like that on driver floor mat (very little), then I looked up…that oil dripped from under dash area…

You need to check yours. I strongly believe it is what happened to my FE a year ago
