That was the insurance quote, when it got to the dealership's collision repair center, they upped the bill to $15,000 (just over)!

Does anybody have an opinion about the oil after sitting for a month and a half? When I eventually get it back, should I change it or should it not matter?

That should not matter, Toyota Service standard checklist would do the dip stick check on the viscosity and the color.

It's back!!! I just picked it up today and they did a great job.

Final cost was just over $15k CDN ($3.42USD (jk)). $3k of that was labour and the rest was parts. Just over two months from collision to getting it back.

I though something was wrong with it because it wouldn't shut off to hybrid battery mode, but turns out the battery was just not charged up and eventually after driving a while it started operating normally.

Feels good to have her back.

Glad you got it back. I am in the waiting stage on parts. Then I figure a month at least to get it fixed. They said part “released” on 4/28. Not sure what that means or how long after that the part will actually arrive.
