Side body moldings

Every time this thread comes up I also re-think it. I think the pictures posted by the members above show that they don't look bad and actually, with an aggressive tire, they can look good, e.g. @TimHerald. I think with a more plain tire, they draw the eye a bit too much but still, they don't look bad.

The problem is it looks SO good without them.

I got a ding in my 2025 and it's right where the molding would go on the driver door.... I'm debating getting them too, but not a fan of the appearance

I at first thought the better look was without them, but still liked the bit of protection they offered. My 1958 came with them, and the look has grown on me. There certainly are worse things out there….

I felt the slab side needed some relief and liked the black to break up the vast whiteness. Got them off ebay and were easy to apply. I just eye-balled them and apart from being a smidgen out in the distance from door edge on one door, not noticeable until you point it out. To me looks much better.
