Took my '25 in for the 5,000 mile service on Saturday.
As I walked out to the car I tried the remote start unsuccessfully (I'm able to get the sequence about 75% of the time) but when I hopped in and did a "manual" start immediately got the "Do you want to power off after one hour" alert...huh...weird.
When that cleared I noticed I had digital speed, fuel, odometer, time, rear seat reminder, and lane assist etc. icons, but no MIDs or HUD.
Figured that I had actually initiated the remote start but then interrupted it, and this was a byproduct of that. So turned off the car, got out, locked it, and started from scratch (manual start only). No changed.
Drove to the dealer for my appointment, still no MIDs. Turned the car off then on again once while waiting, once in front of the check in tech. Still no MIDs or HUD.
Told the service rep that in addition to the scheduled 5K service, I now had this other issues. He grabbed the master tech from the back and had her go look before they took it back so they'd know exactly what I was talking about. By this time the car had been off in the intake bay for about 10 minutes and when she started it everything came back on as it should.
Weird. I'm assuming I created the issue with the interrupted remote start, but the service rep annotated the failure (not the remote start) in the system in case it happens again, and went so far as to tell me that if it does happen again, bring it in and don't turn it off, hop out and ask for him, he'll have a tech hook up diagnostics then and there.
So good as far as that went, and the fact that they found a nail in my right front that I hadn't caught (buried all the way into the tread, between tread blocks) but no loss of pressure. I had to specifically ask for the 5 tire rotation; rep said they do it but only on request.
On the negative side, they didn't replace the small trim piece that goes inside the tailgate frame where you put in the handle to lower spare. Fortunately they'd left it in the bed so I could replace. They also didn't air down the spare when they moved it (to the right front, so weird pattern...possibly because they put that on while plugging the nail hole), but I didn't check with a gauge (my mistake) and trusted the TPMS reading; but my drive home wasn't enough to reset so I didn't notice until Sunday on a longer drive.
Aired it down myself, but still annoying. I'm going to send the service rep a message letting him know. Also a little frustrating to have greasy finger prints on the back window and driver's door. I don't expect a wash or detail, but at least wipe down your mess.
