Record Breaking MPG

Averaged 20.3 over the winter with roof rack and winter tires. Been getting 23.5 since putting the summer stock geolanders back on. Best drive I have seen was 29mpg over a 15-20 minute drive to my daughter’s house. Eye happy with the fuel economy
Eco mode or normal mode?

First Fillup. Checked my mileage...Odometer listed 21.5mpg. Fuel to miles indicated 23.8MPG. Im pretty happy with that considering it was my first fillup. Driving is normal commuting....8500' elevation to 6500' elevation and back again. So all mountain driving with a bit of City mixed in. All of the folks that are not getting that kind of economy might want to have their Toyota, or right foot checked out? ;) Mode is Normal.

I have had my LC 1958 for about a year now. When I got it I had the stock street tires and I was getting about 24 mpg. I switched to Falken AT4s for the winter in Canada and averaged about 19 mpg. Still have the same tires on and have done a lot of driving in Minnesota and South Dakota this spring. Averaging around 22 mpg.

I am headed to Chicago and I’m really enjoying the tailwind.

If you "pulse and glide" and keep the RPM below 1,800 you can break 29mpg :) Amazing gas mileage for a vehicle of this class.

Good news. My post six months ago was about very disappointing mpg and no range. I am happy to report that I made my drive from NJ to NH. My MPG was 24 on a mix of driving conditions and averaging 70-75 for 125 of the miles. I learned something, when filling you gas tank, it clicks off with room for for another gallon or so. I made the 265 mile ride with a 1/3 left in the tank. This was a pleasant surprise from the winter 17-19 mpg babying the pedal. I have a stock FE with a bull bar only. 10k miles.
