Relocating to downtown Chicago soon and won’t be able to wash as frequently. What do people recommend for rust proofing? Plan to own 15-20 years and want to do it right.

RP-342 is what I put on mine. Dries and becomes waxy and doesn't wash away. A lot use Fluidfilm but it stays wet and washes away so would need more frequent application.

Can we presume Toyota will do a better job of rust-protecting the inside of the 2024+ LC fully boxed frame? From one video it appears they may be...
I'm using a product called Surface Shield - it supposedly has more staying power than fluid film, and sprays on easier. Will see how it held up in the spring
I have this in another post. I got this on the FJ forum. It literally makes light rust disappear like magic in a few minutes. It will do that if you already have a heavy rust issue but it may keep it from getting worse. I use it on my FJ twice a year. It goes on sale on Amazon every once in a while.
