Mine’s loose too, but honestly it makes a perfect spot to mount a pair of reverse lights.

Rear spoiler seems loose on my 250

I considered mounting a pair of BU lights up there, but with the routing of the power wires being a nightmare, I decided to mount 2 lights next to the receiver hitch and 2 under the bumper The magor drawback of mounting lights on the spoiler....... if the spoiler mounts tear out, the lights might end up hitting the glass.

Yes, it’s the first option, but depending on your driving habits, it’s a pretty exposed location. In some markets, the hitch receiver setup is different — no bumper “diapers” in Europe and no hitch at all. I almost lost my spare tire once crossing a ditch, so for this setup I deliberately chose the tiniest, lightest LED light possible placed a the least exposed location.
Routing harnesses can also be a nightmare for techs who are in a hurry. I’ll take my time, dig through forums, and try to be prepared, so it should be fine. Around July, I’m planning to wire an air compressor into the trunk as well, that job will be cool.
