Question for those who have upgraded to the FE skid plates:
The attached instruction sheet for replacing the standard LC/LC skid plates with the improved FE skid plates shows a Trim Mount Bracket and a Hardware Bag (containing some nuts and bolts) also being needed. Do those extra items come with the FE skid plates when purchased from Toyota, or do they need to be purchased separately?

The front skid comes with any additional hardware you need. The rear skid re-uses all the same bolts.

Noticed my plastic trim piece (Fig 2-1) has a split down the middle. It came right out with no excessive force being applied, so wonder if it was damaged during assembly. Or maybe just a poor design. Guess I'll order a new one, and swap them out during my next oil change.

Also, all of the original M8 bolts (including the 3 from the SDM protector) add up to 11. The new skid plates take 12 bolts (including 2 for the bracket, Fig 3-3). There are 3 M8 bolts on the access panel for Engine Undercover #2, but they are longer and have a smaller attached washer. So this leaves you 1 M8 bolt short. The M8 bolts included in the parts bag with the new skid plates are black vs the silver originals. There aren't enough of them to swap out to all black bolts, so you'll have a mixture of black and silver M8 fasteners. I'll see if I can order another original one, so that they all match.
