I somehow just noticed the plastic trim near my seat belt buckle is pretty beat up. I believe i have been releasing the buckle and letting it whack it causing these scuffs.

I used the "Chemical Guy's" stuff and it covered up some pretty hefty scuffs and scratches I acquired.......

Thanks I'll pick some that up and give it a shot. Like a robot even after this post I literally did it again and was like yup that's me still launching it.

You might consider putting some self-adhesive Velcro (non-hook part) as a cushion.

Duct tape is also useful to protect plastic areas subject to scuffing. I’m going to check the seatbelt area now. Thanks for the heads up!

So "THE Best" thing would be Gaffer's tape! It's like duck tape but is 50 times as strong, as it's cloth based (I think) comes in black and will stick to anything!

same as me. I just got my car 2 days ago and it has scratched by seat belt at the same position and one of them is real deep. do not know if it can be removed or if I can buy this part from Toyota to replace it

Interested in this as well. I keep forgetting to check mine but I assume it will get there eventually.

Yeah, I have them too. Stickerfab has some vinyl covers for that spot but I don’t know if those stay on for good or not.
The stickerfab ones are what I went for because of the custom fit. On sale right now too.
( 3D Carbon Seatbelt Panel Protection - 2024+ Land Cruiser )
I can also recommend their overlays for the obnoxious visor airbag labels

I finally remembered to check mine and I have no issues yet. I did come across that video that might be worth trying for OP and others with this issue:

What issue.
Normal wear and tear and really very cosmetic.
Worry yourselves to death over nothing.

I used a heat gun to lessen the appearance of my scratches. If you try this approach, use low heat and take your time.

After taking care of the scratches, I applied some adhesive backed felt to protect against future wear.

From the Lexus forum:

Silicone covers for the seat belt to prevent scratching.

Revel-USA used my LC for R&D and will be available in the market soon. More pics on my build.
