OTA UPDATE?

Anyone have a OTR update on the multi-media screen? Back the vehicle out of the garage, waiting on the better half, all of sudden looked up and screen was updating, don’t know what was updating but something was.

I've had that happen a few times. Mine is from June 2024. Every time it happens some of my settings revert back to stock. Very frustrating. Didn't get one recently though.

Happened to me multiple times. At one point, it fixed an issue I had with the screen about maps loading blank.

Just saw this screen today. I needed to make a phone call via iPhone, so when I made the call, the screen reverted back to normal. We will see what I get leaving work today.

Must be a global phenomenon...Saw the same thing earlier today. Very unusual.

Updates aren't uncommon - you can even check for updates manually via the screen.

My HU version is 1810, which may be what shipped with car last August. I do not have the left toolbar which makes using carplay along with Sirius radio within the toyota app quite a pain.

I know, always had to on my Tundra check for updates, never seen it happen automatically

Yes, I had one this morning. I've had several of these over my last year of ownership.

I'm still at HU SW version 1861 which is what it got a few days before delivery to the dealer. No update so far, I did get the "Updating settings" message that lasted for like 2 seconds at most. But no SW update.
