Does anyone have a video or instructions on how to install the OEM roof rack? I currently have a 1958 and I was wondering if anyone has a video on how to install it properly. I was never great with installing parts myself but heard this one is easy.

Ok here’s the deal. I just installed this a week ago. Anyone can do it. Just take your time. It’s not as bad as you think.

Step 1: order yourself these two these things. Links below. For the RTV silicone, get whatever color is best to match your car. My car is black so I got black. You will never see it but still mattered to me to at least have it match. Your going to use this when you take the OEM screws out of the roof you will put silicone around where you put the new screws.

And for this, trim removal tool, you could probably get away without buying it and use something to pop the trim parts of the top of the car, but I think I’m going to find it useful in the future and you could always return it.

Step 2: watch this YouTube video. This guy installed the same roof rack. We have on Lexus GX. And it’s literally the same exact installation. Not one single thing was different from my experience.
Step3: good luck! If you really get Jamed up I’ll give you my cell and can walk you through it. To many small steps to write out.
Nice ! Glad it helped. Also. A torque wrench is required. But you may be able to get away without it. Wouldn’t suggest not using it but tighten by hand. This is great! Really appreciate you! I have a black 1958 as well. Just watched the video and it seems simple and I think I should be able to follow the steps
