Diode Dynamics and Foxbeam Lighting are excited to collaborate and introduce the SSC1 LED Fog Light Kit for the 2022+ Toyota Land Cruiser.

Plug and Play. Thanks to custom 3D-printed brackets, the SSC1 Fog Light Bracket Kit can be installed on your Toyota Land Cruiser in minutes. Simply remove your factory fog light assembly and ours will bolt right in its place! Wire adapters are included to connect the lights to your factory bulb sockets - no additional wiring needed!

Focused. Traditional optics like reflectors or simple lenses lose light internally and to glare, so not all of the light shines on target. Instead, the custom-engineered TIR optic in the SSC1 collects all of the light from the LED, and directs it only where you need it, drastically reducing glare and improving total efficiency.

From there, while other options on the market lose as much as 10% of the light output shining through an outer lens, the custom-molded TIR optic in the SSC1 serves as both the optic and main lens for greater efficiency and light output (patent pending). Thanks to this innovative feature, when coupled with high-intensity LED chips, the total intensity of the SSC1 is much greater than other LED pods using basic optics or reflectors with a standard outer lens.

SAE Compliant. All Stage Series beam pattern options were designed with optical simulation modeling, to shape the output in a highly-functional beam pattern.

SAE Fog uses our distinctive FineLine optic design, and provides an extremely wide field of view, with high-intensity output over an entire 98-degree spread. It serves as a great upgrade for any factory foglamp, and will fully illuminate the area in front of your vehicle. Choose your output color of cool white or yellow, which is often said to help cut through inclement weather.

When installed as a pair and aimed in accordance with your state's regulations, the Fog pattern meets SAE J583 standard as a Foglamp, for legal on-road use. Please check your local laws and regulations for aiming, installation, and applicability.

Backlight Functionality. The SSC1 LED Pod features a distinctive backlight, in a brilliant amber color. This integrated backlight gives you an additional accent light, along with the main beam. The SSC1's backlight fully illuminates the TIR optic, providing a more unique and modern look than the small indicator LEDs found in other products. To power the backlight, use the included harness to tap your desired vehicle function.

White or Yellow. All Stage Series LED pods are available in a cool white or selective yellow color. The white is a 6000K color temperature, which is a true cool white output, and matches most factory LED lighting. The selective yellow is a 3000K color temperature, great for high contrast in poor weather or a distinctive look on the road.

In the Box:
  • Two (2) SSC1 LED pods
  • Two (2) Foxbeam Type BM brackets
  • Two (2) 4-Pin DT to DJ70 Adapters
  • Two (2) T-Tap Connectors
  • Mounting hardware

Proven Reliability. Stage Series LED lighting has been extensively tested for long-term operation from -40 to 185 degrees F, along with vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion testing. All of these tests are completed to SAE standards, just like factory components. They've also been put to the test on-road by racers and enthusiasts alike.

Would be nice if Diode Dynamic rep on this forum can clarify whether this product is specific for the 2024+ Land Cruiser? Some of the info sounds very generic, and the bracket doesn't look like the one on our LCs.

I agree. The only reason I haven't bought them yet is the bracket looks like its just takes the SSC1 and uses the U bracket on the light to attach it to the 3D printed bracket. It does look like the mount on the 2024+ LC. I stuck my phone up in the bumper of my 1958 and took a pic of the existing bracket. The other thing with these is it looks like it would be a bear to get them aligned with having to reach in the fender with a wrench and a ratchet to loosen and tighten the bolt on the U bracket. Here is what the fog light looks like from the back on a 1958.

The only reason i have not bought them yet is the factory ones work great and were supplied with the vehicle. I see no advantages if actually used as fog lights in the fog. Mine are amber/ yellow or white depending the mood.
If you don't have them and its a simple install, yes you need them just cuz, if you have the excellent premium ones, leave them alone.
The toyota factory lighting systems are excellent.

Well the 1958’s come with plain old white fog lights. I don’t have the Rigid fogs. The OEM Rigid fogs are $679 for one, so $299 a pair is looking pretty good. I am going to get the rest of my Diode Dynamic lights installed and then see what I need.
