Great work on the panels. Looking to the same very soon. I was hoping to swap out fog lights as well to amber.

Yes, you will see the texture. I am not familiar enough with this particular vehicle to know if they (Toyota) sells different end caps, but past experience says they are all the same. I have a 2018 Tunda and all the bumper parts come unpainted and textured just like the LC parts are on the 1958. If it was a real worry there is a process for getting rid of the texture. I’m not super concerned about it because it’s just going to get chipped up anyway. About the sensors, yes I scuffed them and painted them Again this is how they are done when we replace these pars on a crash vehicle.

Do you notice any texture difference in the fog light panel covers you painted? I know they sell the oem unpainted ones, which I assume are different from 1958. It looks great what you did. And did you paint over your sensors?

Yes I want to swap out for the amber set also, I saw a post here the other day about a company that has them but I forgot the name. Seems like it was S…something.

I’ll get some closer pictures, are you wanting to see the texture? And no problem with the sensors.

You may want to talk with the shop about taking the extra steps to smooth them on out. A metallic color will show the texture more.
