I'm in SW Michigan and my power had been out at the house since Thursday when my tree fell over the lines. I used my LC's inverter to keep my succulents and cactuses happy by powering their grow lights, and my computer and lights around the house running, and most importantly the coffee maker. It did great and never had a single issue although I felt pretty guilty running it so long like that.

I was at some national park at a common camp ground and was running the inverter to grill some fajitas. The park ranger lady pulls up and says you're not allowed to run gas generators out here and then looks at the car and said the car engine shouldn't be running because these are big generators.
As soon as she said that, the cars engine shuts off on its own and she's like wait the car is off, have a good night. Best fajitas ever.

Hi reclinerhead,
Thank you for sharing. So good to know that in emergencies, we can rely on our LCLC inverter, and get going.

Did you leave the car on for many continuous hours?

Could you give this dunderhead more straight forward instructions as to how to activate the inverter? I have tried and failed to follow the user manual instructions. It certainly is an extremely useful feature.
