Might be a stupid question, but...here goes....(adding apps to infotainment system)

I came from a 2017 Tacoma. On that truck, I was able to add 3rd party apps to the infotainment system...I can't seem to find a way to do that on the LC (LC Premo JBL system). Is that feature no longer available?

As far as I know...no. I'm pretty sure functionality like that was scrapped in favor of supporting Apple CarPlay and Andoid Auto, which kind of makes supporting apps directly via the infotainment system redundant.

I honestly just wish I could remove the options for Amazon and Apple Music from the native infotainment system, since I have no plans to buy a mobile data subscription to support using them.

Only the apple supported apps via carplay can be added with the existing head unit
