Memmory Seat

I am unable to understand how the memory seat L1 and L2 work . My Wife and I drive the LC 250 prado , and we both have different configuration.However not sure how to use the memmory findtion.

After setting the position to either L1 or L2 , next time i try to recall either of them the seat just stays in the same position. Any inputs are welcome.

I watched a video online about how to recalibrate seats. It was a Toyota video. It was not a Toyota Land Cruiser, Video, but it doesn’t matter it recalibrates the seat.
