Wondering if anyone has a list, or reference to the service manual, of lubrication points.

Gearing up to start doing my own oil changes and want to do this easy task as well. As stated in manual, the drive shaft U joints and yoke are obvious, but are there any other points underneath like steering, ball joints, etc., that have fittings or require grease?

Also, the manual lists lithium chassis grease for U joints, but states moly disulfide or lithium for slip yoke. Any particular grease suggestions, and should one use two different types on the drive shafts?

Thanks in advance.

The only ones that I am aware of are on the propeller shaft. I believe there are six of them. When having Toyota do the 5, 10, 15, 20 K services they don’t even bother to lube them. I asked them to do it at my 15,000 and they said we don’t do that. Was told they only get reimbursed for a tire rotation so they don’t do anything else. They do try and upsell you on their injector cleaners, and other stuff for like $300.

I found 3 on the front prop shaft (1 on each spider and 1 on slider) and 2 on the rear (spiders only). The rear slider has a rubber dust boot and no longer has a grease nipple. Used NLGI 2 lithium grease for everything.
Unable to see any other grease / lubrication points - hope that helps.
