Discovered something interesting today when I visited my PPF guy's shop. They had a GX550 Overtrail there waiting to be worked on and I noticed their stock fender flares to be even wider than the LC250 LC trim fender flares. I'd say almost twice as wide. I took a photo of mine and the GX550 for comparison.

Now I wonder if the GX550 fender flare can be a snap-on option for the LC.

White one is my LC (with +20mm offset SCS Gen5 Wheels)
Grey one is the GX550 Overtrail.

Maybe your ppf guy can swap them and see if they fit? I mean, he probably have to remove the fender trims to apply the PPF anyways.

Nice find. Looks wider but I think the trim gets cut off shorter due to the different bumpers, front and back. Still wonder what it’d look like tho.

Nice. What tire size/offset do you guys have to want bigger fender flares, or is it just the look? My 285s have about an inch of poke, and I am just doing wider mud flaps.

Nice thought, but I think the NYTOP fender flares look much better. Hoping to see these on some LCs before I decide whether to pick up a set. The carbon fiber set are $2K. Ouch.

Yeah... I just don't think fender flares are worth $2k for the set. (Even the cheapest option from NYTOP are $1399) But that's my 2cents. For me personally I'd much rather spend that money on suspension components.

Mine is +20mm offset. with 285/70/17. It's only about half an inch of poke (maybe less), but in some angle it "kinda" throw off the geometry of the rest of the vehicle. I just need the fender flares to be maybe 0.5" to 1" wider then it'll complete the look.

I have the same feeling, 1k for some plastic? which you need a mold to produce? (or a big enough 3d printer), too rich for my blood. And I bet they can manufacture these in china with the cost of 200 rmb.
