Will the lc battery charge if you remote start the 2024 LC and let it run in that mode until it shuts down? The LC will be in storage for 6 months and I will not be available to run LC during that time.

It should. The hybrid system charges the 12v battery. I believe you can only remote start twice before you have to start it normally.

I would consider connecting a trickle charger/battery maintainer in your absence. You can connect a pigtail to the battery terminals that stays in place to connect the charger as-needed, or use alligator clips that come with the charger directly to the battery posts.

It would but lots of opportunity for bad things to happen. May I offer some possible alternatives....

Don't worry about till you get back and coordinate for a possible jump start. Possibly get a lithium jump box and leave in the vehicle.

Open the rear hatch, remove the battery trim panel, loosen the 12v neg battery cable but do not remove yet. Close the rear hatch, lock the doors (with the driver's door open), crawl in the back and remove the neg cable the small black connector beside it. Manually lock the door. Vehicle is essentially dead. When you return, use the manual key to unlock the dvr's door to reconnect the battery cable. Note: be ready with the key fob to start the vehicle as the security system might freak out on you....... don't ask how I know this.....LOL.

Put it on a trickle charger.

If you disconnect the battery, you may be able to manually open the Dvr's door and pop the hood and use the under-hood jump start point to allow you to pop the rear hatch to reconnect the battery (IDK for sure).

If you have a power rear hatch you'll have to calibrate it after the battery is reconnected.
You will have to enter you access code in the head set once the battery is reconnected.

My concern is the hybrid battery charge. Will remote start also charge the hybrid battery

It may charge very minimally. Most of the charging is done by braking. The hybrid battery will most likely be fine. If it was to go dead which I don’t think it will the vehicle can start with the 12v battery. There is a backup 12v starter on the engine.

It will charge it fine as long as remote start works, that is how it charges the battery when 2400W inverter is used.
