Landcruiser LC 200 V8 Diesel

Dear all,

i am concidering to buy a 2013 Landcruiser 200 V8 Diesel.
Found a couple of "horror" videos on youtube of people who had to spend 10k or more in repair costs
and now i am a bit insecure of my choice.

Can u guys maybe share your experiences with the 200 diesel 2008-2015 series?

How much fuel consumption does it have in real life driving on the highway?

Hoping to find some advice here.

Ok l have a 2012 V8 cruiser , fuel who cares, l tow a 3 1/2 ton van and l work on 20 lts to a 100 klm , driving with out around 14 lts to a 100 klm. Problem lve got is mine has just cloked 200k klms and the factory say replace vac boost pump which means remove valley cover which is a mission on its own so you say to yourself might as well replace the starter and the injectors while your there which equates to cubic dollars. Right now the vehicle performs faultlessy as l am pretty pedantic with all maintenance requirements . lf you are not towing or doing a lot of 4WD look at the Prado they get good economy and are much cheaper to maintain in the long run
