Just got back from Death Valley

just got back from a fun and memorable trip to death valley. did Titus canyon and echo canyon (all the way to the abandoned Inyo mine.)

it was extremely hot for most of the trip (outdoor temps were up to 116F) and the LC handled this without any issues.

Yikes, were you camping? Didn't a couple people die from exposure quite recently? Any chance you have a GPX? I've been wanting to head out that way with the kids, but don't really know where to go.

thanks for the post. I was in a hotel. it's way too hot for camping at these temps. yes some folks recently got stranded and one or more folks died from exposure. I don't have gpx files unfortunately but the routes are very well documented on the death valley national Park website. we can chat further 1:1 if you would like. death valley is really magical and you feel like you are on another planet. just need to follow some basic safety precautions and heed all park warnings. best bet is to visit when temps are reasonable.
