The 250 sways like a boat on highway and the rear always feels lagged when turning even with my Radflo 2.5 shocks. I just put on the belltech 28mm rear sway bar and it helped quite a bit. The bar is much thicker and heavier compared to the oem. I’m running extended sway bar link and at the middle point setting on the sway bar, the steering feels tighter and the rear catches up quicker when I turn at highway speed. It still feels a little floaty so I’m going to move it to the sportiest setting and see if further improves the ride.

Overall, highly recommend the upgrade, and the install process is fairly easy. I recommend jacking the rear high enough to get the suspension into full droop, the belltech bar is super heavy and you need all the space you can get to maneuver it during the install.

Which end links did you go with? I’m curious how the stiffest setting helps with on road feel and the loosest settings helps with off road flex. Cheers and thanks for sharing the info!

I got the dobinson ones. I will report back when I’m putting in a big flex situation, will post pics. But I personally think it’s not going to affect flex

What are the end links about? When I look at the installation PDF, I don’t see anything about end links?

No need for adjustable end links unless you have extended the travel and or lift. In that case the adjustable end links remove the pre load on the stabi bar placing it back to neutral load at ride height vs having preload. If the links are set too long they will allow contact with the frame.

All below just FYI in case someone doesn’t know:

Its impossible to increase the size of the bar and maintain OEM articulation. Stiffer bar means it will limit the opposing sides travel under less suspension movement and increase that affect more readily as the compression continues. It will also shift the bias from understeer to oversteer (rear bar stiffer) while removing body roll if the front bar remains unchanged.

There’s a reason they make disconnecting stabi bars as any bar will limit articulation and the stiffer the bar the more the limitation. Easy way to look at it, bigger bars shift the handling focus towards on road and take away Off road performance while shifting handling bias (understeer/front or oversteer/rear) towards the stiffer bar placement.

AWD and full time FWD are inherently balanced (depending on torque splits) while FWD causes understeer and RWD causes oversteer most OEM setups are understeer bias (front bar larger than rear) done for safety as evidence shows the majority of people don’t deal with oversteer well in a panic and will often loose control. Just food for thought when changing up bars.
