Just installed the trunk light today, picked it up from cartrimhome.com. Shipping was fast — only 3 days. Install couldn’t be easier, took me less than 10 minutes. Totally worth it and I’d recommend it to anyone. Honestly, can’t believe Toyota leaves just a plastic cover there instead of making this standard.

It is an option.....on my order.
I installed it last week.. super easy install and really puts out a lot of light. I did put in a mechanical switch by the tail gate buttons to be sure it doesn't turn itself on by accident and drain/kill the 12v battery. Well worth the $50.
