I removed the full 'diaper' - replaced with the half 'diaper'. Much better. What do you think?

I did the half diaper thing the day I got my LC! I topped it off with a nice rubber hitch cover, and I think overall the whole thing looks great1

I had a rubber hitch cover like that for a different vehicle, but got rid of it because it started to degrade badly pretty quickly. Everytime I'd touch it my hand we be covered in black gunk.

You have to get a good quality, rubber (not plastic) one. Believe it or not, I got my Curt first for my '15 Xterra, then moved it to my '19 Cherokee, and now to my '25 LC. After many years of use, it still looks brand new, and still works great (very flexible material, and easily fits into my receiver). I've had absolutely no issues with any type of wear or deterioration...

Personally, I think the half-diaper approach looks much better if you also install a hitch cover.Half diaper with hitch cover.JPG

Looks great! Is your color wind Chill Pearl or Ice cap? I WANTED the wind chill pearl, but got in a rush when the tariffs were supposed to hit and I was out of time and bought an Underground. I still envy every white one I see! LOL

Mine is WInd Chill Pearl, which is nice, but not what I really wanted... I also was in a rush due to the tariffs, and the general unavailability of the LC Premium's, so I jumped on the WCP -- but what I was really looking for was Meteor Shower, which I think is a really nice (and a bit different) silver color...

Yes, very familiar with the meteor shower as well. I wanted the WCP with Java............... And I had access to one out of state and they were willing to meet me part way or drive it to me or there was a meteor shower with java at a second dealer closer to home. I should have went that route - but the Underground had a lower sticker price (didn't have all the add ons some dealers put on that I wasn't interested in) and he discounted the sticker price. I didn't think I could justify the difference in price for the color! But, every time I fight to keep it clean, I am sorry I didn't just pay the extra and get what I wanted! My husband loves the Underground color.............

I had this step from my previous truck plus thought it might give a little protection for the sensors in the rear bumper. I apologize for the dirty vehicle!IMG_0809.jpeg
