How to remove empty buttons

Hello!
I am new so I need help with removing the empty buttons. I tried to remove one of them with a screwdriver but I slightly damaged to bottom area. Any suggestion?

If you don't care about the "blanking" plate, simply use a wood screw and screw it into the center of the blanking plate, then use a pair of pilers to rock it back and forth and it'll pop right out. On the second one, you can stick your finger through the 1st one and get it to pop out. By far the easiest method.

If you do care about the blanking plate, after removing all the trim panels around that trim panel, you can move that panel enough to get your hand/finger around to the back side and poke it out.
