Hi from Walnut Creek, California!

Yes, I have in a pinch, like returning from Tahoe with salt on the car and itโ€™s 45 degrees and raining here, but I mostly hand wash at home. The car wash soaps and chemicals are harsh even if you avoid swirl marks.
Harsh chemicalsโ€ฆ.good point. I remember the suds left a spot that had a rainbow silhouette. Iโ€™ve been washing at home using the no rinse method.

Thanks for confirming you had no issues with the car wash.

If your going to be in salt conditions its really hard to get it off and out of everywhere it gets.
I forgot what we used to spray the undercarriage with before Bonneville SF, that is what you want to use before ruining the vehicle with salt spray etc.
AMZ has a number of products that should help.
Heavy under spray car wash upon return. If you live in a free zone like some of us, a good jet nozzle well under the vehicle and in crevices is good as well.
Good luck.

Hello everyone from Walnut Creek, California!

I am currently driving a Polestar 2 and an eGolf, but with two children under 2yrs old in car seats and a golden retriever, I need a bit more space. I would also like my next car to stay with us for a long time and support a more adventurous lifestyle. Enter the LC!

I am in no hurry to get a new car, but after test driving LC, 4Runner (6th gen) and Honda Passport, I have fallen in love with the Land Cruiser, so I am now looking for a deal below MSRP or a gently used specimen.

Last week I test drove a beautiful, gently used trail dust LC Premium that unfortunately got away at the last second ๐Ÿ˜”

The search continuesโ€ฆ
This fellow seems legit, i do not know him expect from this forum.
My only advice is:
Make sure you get what you want when it's all said and done.
Buy once, enjoy the ride. Especially with your intention to make it last.

Good luck.

Also, I am quite convinced that was Rubycredโ€™s old ride:
Super delayed response, but, YES!!! That was mine!!! I still miss it even though I only had it for a few months. ๐Ÿ˜ข

I dream about the day they decide to make an LC with the folding third row, because it really has come in handy in the GX for our family. I would go back to the LC in a heartbeat.

For a while after it sold, I would see traildust LCs on the road and wonder if that was my old car. Would look to see if it had the iForceMax badge removed...most didn't.

Glad to know it went to someone who is loving it. Enjoy!!
