From what I understand, the SLC event was by invitation, screening out any seriously critical reviewers. It is a great vehicle, would love to have one, but not there are some drawbacks. For the 1958 version in particular, would be very interested in the road noise. Let's face it, they are targeting the Wrangler and Bronco. It's all about off-roading, as opposed to the previous Land Cruiser, a great highway machine in addition to off-road capable, albeit at a much greater price.
