I live in Washington State and am waiting for my new 2025 Land Cruiser. I am concerned about wind noise with the large roof rack. I will check out what everyone is saying about it. It may not be too late to change it to the standard roof rack. Decisions…

I have the OEM 3/4 Roof Rack and like it. I hear more wind noise than other less boxy vehicles but it sounds to me that the noise comes from the A pillar and mirrors, not the top of the vehicle. I haven't tried sitting as a second row passenger. Overall the wind noise is what you expect (noticeable above 60mph). I would not expect the cross bars to be significantly quieter. If you are coming from a Jeep or Bronco, the LC with roof rack is quieter.

See if your dealer has any other LC on the lot you can take on the freeway. You will hear wind noise that I suspect you'll be okay with, but better to know what you are getting into. I came from a Subaru WRX which did not have wind noise but plenty of rattles that I learned to deal with. I haven't had any rattles on the LC.

Thank you and good idea! I’ll call the dealer tomorrow they might have a 1958 on the lot with it.
