Has anyone successfully removed their body side molding?

My ding happened at a ski resort parking lot. Some beater parked too close and they just swung their door right into my LC. To make things worse, I had road grime from the snowy roads on the side, enhancing the door ding scratches into my paint. All bad. I was able to buff a lot of the scuff out, but you can't buff out scratches or dents. People suck!

I added them on my 2025 LC. I didn't want the doors dinged up.

I took mine off with a heat gun and it came right off. Barely needed the heat gun. Needed it off for PPF.
