I live in Michigan and we have been having our share of winter lately. I have a 1958 and am just wondering for all you cold weather folks, has anyone ever had a worse snow tire. I feel like these tires just are not winter worthy. Of course I could put winter tires on, but I never did with my 4wd Ram truck with Michelins on it seemed to navigate fine. I find the back end a little lose going around corners and just feel like they could have put a better all around tire on these things for what they cost.

The geolanders that came on my 1958 would never see snow. I like the tire a fair amount for its highway comfort and economy. Here full winters go on at the end of October. You likely don't need full winters in Michigan but the stock geolander is not an all season in my opinion.

Blizzaks. We’ve had 3 weeks of continuous ice on our 200 m driveway and adjoining dirt road. No slippage to report.

Blizzaks on mine as well - though to be fair any of the top brand ice oriented tires are excellent. Fat superior to the AT 3 mtn peak tires. its all in the siping.

I guess next winter it's snow tires for me too. Those X-CV's look like summer tires, even when compared to the Michelins on our Subaru.
