Disabling Auto Shut Off

(1) It's a hybrid, it's not auto shut off. Your electric motor is still working just fine. That's what it's there for.
(2) If you want the ICE always running anyway, use tow mode.

I don't think you can. I know you can turn on the Towing feature and it will not shut off but you would have to do that every time you get in.

Towing or manual mode disables it, but that is about it.

Not really sure what the issue with it is since it is a hybrid. My Honda Ridgeline had auto start/stop and there was device to disable it which I did. A gasoline vehicles with Start/Stop is one thing, but on a hybrid like the Land Cruiser it is pretty much unnoticeable.

But keep in mind the Air Conditioning is electric on the Land Cruiser, so the engine does not reduce the A/C performance. Additionally electric motor does away with the starter eliminating that issue. Finally, the lag for the engine to start is essentially mute since the electric motor assists for the instant as the gas engine starts.
