I took my previously flawless LC to the dealer for the 10k service. They scratched three wheels and the front bumper. It's all minor scratches but a few are to bare metal. I pointed it out the damage out to the service manager, who then directed me to the service director. He acknowledged the damage and said he would review their cameras then call me back. Any advice on how to navigate this?

Hi, I think dealer is 100% responsible for damage, for wasting your time and for causing issues in your life. Stupidos need to compensate you

My advice........ wait on the call from the service director........... They will probably make an appointment to bring it in for repair. When you bring it in for repair, pull out your phone and with the intake person, record the entire intake procedure, but don't be a dick about it. When it comes back from repair, you'll have to make the decision if you can live with the repair, because it'll never be to the level as you expect. Finally make the decision to sue, sell or live with it.

I think you're probably right. The service director mentioned refinishing the wheels, but I'm concerned the results may be worse than what I have now. Matching the texture of a matte finish can't be easy. Maybe the best way to handle this is touch the wheels up, then service the car myself from now on.

They are completely responsible. I just don't know what compensation looks like. I'm beginning to think any compensation they offer will leave me worse off.

I've had several sets of wheels refinished and to be honest they removed the gouges/scratches and re-powder coated the wheels and I could not tell they were ever damaged. I have also scratched my new LC, small un-noticeable but I know they're there, but I tried to sue myself but it ended up not working and was a wash...............
